Happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is on a career high with back to back hits in the form of Chalo and Geetha Govindham. She is currently busy shooting for Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film Dear Comrade and has a couple of big ticket offers up her sleeve.
According to the latest buzz, the Kirik Party girl is the forerunner to play the romantic interest of Mega hero Varun Tej in the soon to be launched film which will be directed by Harish Shankar. Reportedly, Varun has agreed to work with Harish Shankar for the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda. Sources say that Rashmika has been approached to reprise the role of Lakshmi Menon from the original. She is likely to sign the dotted line very soon.
14 Reels Entertainments banner will bankroll the film. The regular shooting will commence from early next year.
