Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja has been facing tough time and he has been sitting idle from the past one year. Though some of the projects materialized, they have been shelved because of the actor’s remuneration which has been huge. Though he scored some remarkable hits, none of Ravi Teja’s movies crossed Rs 30 crore mark. Popular producers like Dil Raju, KL Damodar Prasad and DVV Danayya backed out of his next project.
It has been revealed that Ravi Teja signed his next film in the direction of debutant Vikram Siri in which he will essay the role of a cop. As per the latest news, the actor slashed down his remuneration by Rs 2 crores and he will be charging Rs 5 crores for the movie. Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) will bankroll the film which will be made on a strict budget of Rs 20 crores. Ravi Teja also signed a film in the direction of KS Ravindra (Bobby) which will roll soon. Ravi Teja is also said to provide financial assistance for his films.
