Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja took ample time to get into the league of actors in Telugu cinema. His hard work paid off and the actor emerged as one of the most bankable actors of Tollywood. But soon the actor lost track after he started charging hefty remuneration for his projects. Ravi Teja tasted massive debacles in the past two years and his market tumbled down badly. But Ravi Teja seemed not to compromise on the paycheque he is offered. Ravi Teja is even not ready to share the profits after he rejected some of such proposals brought by some top Tollywood filmmakers.
Now his producers are left scared as his market reached all-time low. Ravi Teja is charging Rs 10 crore per film and his last film Amar Akbar Anthony’s theatrical share closed at Rs 5 crores. With the actor not compromising on the budget, several directors and filmmakers are not in a mood to work with the veteran actor. It’s high time for the actor to pick up interesting scripts and bounce back instead of focusing on the hefty remuneration. His next film Disco Raja is releasing this December and is being made on a budget of Rs 40 crores.
