The alleged accusation by a source close to director Puri Jagannnath about NTR stealing the director’s story idea and using it in ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ has spread life wildfire in film circles. The only similarity between the story narrated by Puri and Bobby’s is that lead character in both versions has stammering issue. JLK is an entirely original story with the hero essaying three characters while Puri’s version had only one principle character with stammering problem. It is unjustified to accuse NTR of stealing story idea just because of a similarity in characterization, ‘stammering’.
