The buzz is that Aravind Swamy has been offered a hefty remuneration to play his part in Thani Oruvan remake. There were many names that did the rounds like Nagarjuna, Dr Rajashekar before Aravind Swamy was finalised. The reason is that the producer wanted to lift some scenes and just dub it instead of going for a complete shoot. Aravind Swamy would be working only on a certain important number of days. Since the remake rights have been bought, the producers are free to pick some footage from the film. Thani Oruvan has become a big blockbuster and the villain is being talked about for his role than anyone in the story. Ram Charan Tej is the hero in the Telugu version.
