Two decades ago, Rajinikanth created huge sensation with the film Baasha which happened to be one of the biggest hits in the actor’s career. The movie has been a trend-setter in South Indian cinema and with Baasha as inspiration, many films have been made. Baasha is all about the story of a don who turned down an auto driver for his family and emotional content along with the action episodes made the film outstanding.

Directed by Suresh Krishna, the movie features two different angles of Rajini in the film. The makers of Basha have been working on the digitized version of the movie and the remastered version is all set for release on December 12th which marks the 66th birthday of Rajinikanth’s birthday. The sound and the colour enhancements too have been taken enough care and the final copy of the film is ready informed sources.
