2018 is coming to an end and it turned out to be a bitter experience for several actors. However some of them continued to surprise the audience with their work and stood on the top. Let’s see the experience of 2018 for Telugu actors:
Pawan Kalyan: Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s last film Agnyaathavaasi (as of now as he made his political entry) ended up as the biggest dud and left several in deep shock. The buyers lost hefty amounts and Trivikram Srinivas was badly criticized. Even Sankranthi holiday season could not save the film.
Mahesh Babu: Superstar Mahesh Babu who struggled for success bounced back with Bharat Ane Nenu. He surprised the audience as CM Bharat and the film has been declared as the biggest hit of the actor though buyers incurred minor losses. Koratala Siva is the director and Mahesh is a relieved man with the film’s result.
NTR: Young Tiger NTR continued to impress the audience and he tasted his fifth hit in a row with Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava that released during Dasara. Trivikram bounced back to the league with the film’s success. Tarak’s performance received rave reviews and the actor was thrilled with the response.
Ram Charan: Mega clad is thrilled with the portrayal of Ram Charan as Chitti Babu in Rangasthalam. The film will stand as a milestone in Charan’s career and is the second biggest hit of Telugu cinema after Baahubali franchise. Sukumar is the director Charan’s transformation received stupendous response.
Allu Arjun: Stylish Star Allu Arjun who made his mark tasted a huge debacle with Naa Peru Surya. The film has been badly rejected by the audience and the actor is left puzzled to sign his next after the film ended up as a super flop. He is yet to announce his next film.
Nani: Natural Star Nani tasted a bunch of hits and 2018 will be a year that will sure leave him in shock. He managed to get two releases Krishnarjuna Yuddham and Devadas out of which both of them have been declared as disasters. The actor is in plans to bounce back in 2019.
Ravi Teja: Mass Raja Ravi Teja may have never expected that 2018 will be so disastrous for him. All the three releases Touch Chesi Chudu, Nela Ticket and Amar Akbar Anthony ended up as disasters and his market reached all time low. The actor decided not to hurry and is eagerly waiting for comeback.
Varun Tej: Varun Tej has a mixed bag as his first film of 2018, Tholi Prema ended up as a super hit and Anthariksham 9000 kmph ended up as a massive dud.
Sharwanand: 2018 is a huge lesson for the actor as he tested his luck with Padi Padi Leche Manasu and the film has been badly rejected by the audience. The film is made on a budget of Rs 40 crores and it will end up leaving the makers in Rs 20 crore losses.
Vijay Devarakonda: Tollywood’s Young Superstar Vijay Devarakonda will not forget 2018 in his life. Geetha Govindam that released this year raked over Rs 67 crores in its final run which is a record for tire two actor. He tasted a disaster with NOTA but soon bounced back with Taxiwaala which collected Rs 25 crores during the dull season.
Sai Dharam Tej: Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej after a series of hits tasted six disasters in a row. His 2018 outing Inttelligent is a massive dud that it did not receive decent openings. Tej: I Love You too ended up as a massive disaster at the box-office.
Nithiin: Young actor Nithiin’s Chal Mohan Ranga and Srinivasa Kalyanam have been badly rejected by the audience and the actor is left in shock with the results. 2018 has been quite bad for him.
Ram: Energetic Star Ram too has been struggling for success and he received a relief with Hello Guru Prema Kosame. The film managed to end up as a decent grosser that released during Dasara.
Adivi Sesh: Adivi Sesh who is known for his surprises tasted a blockbuster with Goodachari. The film’s content and the grand technical values impressed one and all. The actor’s work has been highly appreciated and the film ended up as a humongous hit at the box-office. 2018 is a year that will be cherished for Sesh.
Naga Shaurya: Young and aspiring Naga Shaurya tasted his career’s biggest hit with Chalo early this year and soon he tasted two duds Ammammagarillu and Nartanasala.
Vishal: Tamil actor Vishal tasted his career’s biggest hit in Telugu with Abhimanyudu. The movie raked a theatrical share of Rs 10 crores and managed to run for 50 days in theatres which is a rare feat.
