As Chiranjeevi’s 150th – tentatively titled Kathilantodu – is in pre-production, it is learnt that the makers have decided to make a well-researched film which will be informative and not half-baked.
Since the film is a remake of Tamil hit Kaththi which talks about the plight of farmers, the team is co-ordinating with the agriculture department to get figures and statistics from both the Telugu speaking states right.
Since the protagonist fights for the rights of the farmers, we hear Chiru felt it was important that actual figures about budgets allocated to farmers, suicides, loan waivers and other such important details were addressed in the film.
Locales in Rayalaseema are being scouted to get the perfect locale.
