Revanth Reddy, P Mahender Reddy may contest in Lok Sabha polls
Hyderabad: Anumula Revanth Reddy, Congress star campaigner in the recent Assembly elections, may contest from Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency, while another TRS leader and former minister Patnam Mahender Reddy might choose Chevella MP seat. Both the leaders lost in the Assembly polls held on December 7, 2018, in Telangana .
Telangana Congress working president Revanth Reddy lose in Kodangal constituency and former transport minister Mahender Reddy was defeated in Tandur constituency. Mahender Reddy is playing a key role in the district for TRS and the party high command wants him in the active politics. After losing in Tandur, Reddy reportedly asked TRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao for an MLC slot so that he can continue in the KCR’s Cabinet. However, KCR is believed to have advised him to contest from Chevella MP or some other and Reddy has also gave his consent and started preparations for the MP elections.
Coming to the Congress firebrand leader Revanth Reddy, he is prefering Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency.
