Telugu Desam Party’s `fire brand’ MLA in Telangana A Revanth Reddy has clearly indicated that his party is ready to have alliance with Congress party in the state to defeat the main enemy TRS. Further he says, Congress is no more an enemy to TDP here.
In a TV interview, the TDP working president of Telangana state said that the politics of the new state are now polarising into two groups – those who supports ruling TRS and those who opposes, he said. He also indicated that his party’s alliance with BJP will no more sustain in Telangana. Though his party want to continue to go with BJP, he deplored that it was BJP leaders who are indicating day in and day out their strong desire to go with TRS.
Stating that many BJP leaders are making statements stating `TDP is non-entity in Telangana’, he said speculations are also arise about possible induction of TRS MPs in Narendra Modi’s cabinet.
According to him, the immediate task before his party is to remove the `evil force’ from the seat of power in the state. Continuation of dictatorial leader like K Chandrashekar Rao in power is dangerous to the weaker and marginalised sections of the population. Stating that it would be dangerous to the people to continue him even one more minute, he said that his party would fight it out against KCR by forming alliance with all parties and forces, who are likely to come with him.
Asserting that his party is ready to go with Congress in defeating KCR, he said however there are two forces within Congress. Stating that a section of Congress want to KCR to continue in power, he fears they may play spoil tactics if TDP, Congress and Left succeeded in forming a grand alliance.
With regard to BJP, he said that party is its alliance partner in Andhra Pradesh and also at the Centre. But with regard to Telangna, it is up to them to decide their choices.
