Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy turned 55 on Friday. While the CM, has his schedule packed with hectic activity on his first birthday as CM, Congress cadres have turned the day into festival, with celebrations, prayers and service activities across the state.
Revanth Reddy is visiting Yadadri temple along with family to seek blessings of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in the morning.
After Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Darshan, CM will conduct a review with Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) officials about the development works to be taken up in the region.
Later in the day, CM Revanth Reddy will start his Musi Padayatra from Sangem. He will walk for about 2.5 kms from Sangem to Bheemalingam on the banks of Musi river. The Musi Padayatra assumed significance, as Congress Government has been taking up Musi Riverfront Development project as a prestigious one and putting all its energies into it, inspite of Opposition’s protests.
While CM Revanth Reddy took the occasion of his birthday to highlight his commitment towards Musi rejuvenation, Congress leaders and cadres are competing with each other in conducting various activities on the day and to get into the good books of Revanth Reddy.
“CM Revanth Reddy is creating new hope among Telangana people. Being a young and dynamic CM, he is winning hearts of all sections. So obviously it is a big occasion for Congress cadres and Revanth Reddy fans, and we are coming up with service activities across the state,” said Telangana Fisheries Corporation chairman Mettu Sai, who grabbed eye balls with a sand art of Revanth Reddy.
Likewise Secunderabad Cantonment MLA SriGanesh is performing Chandi Yagam with 100 priests on the occasion. Meanwhile Minister Seethakka, a close confidant of Revanth Reddy, celebrated the occasion in Maharashtra, as she is campaigning there for Assembly polls.
Thus the list of CM birthday activities is endless, as Congress cadres across the state are in a celebratory mood.
