“Revanth was a bright guy from childhood onwards. He studied in the village till 6th class and later shifted to Wanaparthy for seventh class. It is a proud moment for all of us that Revanth Reddy has rose to the level of becoming Chief Minister of Telangana. But what’s heartwarming is, he never forgot his village and kept good contact with all the villagers. Especially he makes it a point to celebrate Dasara in our village, in whatever position he may be,” said Salaiah, one of Revanth Reddy’s childhood friends speaking to Telugu360.com.
Continuing his sentiment, Revanth Reddy visited Kondareddipalle on Saturday. Besides spending quality time with his family members, extended family and friends, Chief Minister laid foundation for development works to the tune of Rs 70 Cr on the occasion.
During his visit, CM Revanth Reddy prayed at Kota Maisamma temple. Later he led the procession to ‘Jammi chettu’ in which almost all the villagers took part. According to the tradition, Revanth Reddy shared ‘Jammi’ leaves with near and dear, making it a memorable day for Kondareddipalle public.
