Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are yet to settle several issues related to the AP Reorganisation Act 2014. Schedule IX and X institutions are to be settled and the bank accounts are to be settled between the two Telugu states.
Former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Jagan Mohan Reddy held talks once in the last five years, but nothing had happened. The Union Home Ministry also held four rounds of meetings with the officials of the two Telugu states in the past. But there was no breakthrough yet.
It is to be seen how best both Jagan Mohan Reddy and Revanth Reddy would sort out these issues in the days to come. However, there would not be any meeting between the two chief ministers before Andhra Pradesh goes for general election in 2024.
