‘Beti Bachao’ motto is one of the most important inactivates taken up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While INC (Indian National Congress) President Rahul Gandhi has a new definition for this. Re-defining it, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Save girls… Protect them from BJP leaders’. The slogan has become highly controversial and has gone viral.
Speaking at the Congress party’s ‘Save the Constitution’ campaign Rahul Gandhi has made these stark remarks. He came down heavily on the BJP-led NDA government. Rahul’s scathing attack on the PM and his controversial slogan came after it was reported that a 54-year-old businessman, a BJP supporter sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in Tripura. The police stated that the girl has been assaulted 4 times before the incident came to light.
‘Modi referred the sanitation works carried out by the Valmiki Community to that of spiritual experience in his ‘Karmayog’ book. This clearly exposes the anti-Dalit mindset of Modi’, said Rahul Gandhi.
It should be noted that over 84 Parliamentary Seats (or roughly 17 percent) are reserved for the Dalit community.
