Controversies are synonymous with maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. Recently he was in news for making obscene remarks on yesteryear actor Sridevi in his book ‘Guns and Thighs’ which was released a few days ago. Also, he made headlines a couple of days ago for reacting strongly on Verrappan’s wife Muthulakshmi’s demand to ban the release of the controversial film ‘Killing Verrappan’.
The latest update that Varma has settled the issue with Muthulakshmi who withdrew her petition on seeking the ban on the film. After clearing all the roadblocks, Killing Verrappan is set for a grand release on December 11th. The film is a multilingual which features Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar in a crucial role. The film is based on the real incidents that led to the killing of the dreaded smuggler Verrappan. Parul Yadav plays the female lead in the film.
