Superstar Rajinikanth and prolific filmmaker Shankar teamed up for Robot 2.0, which is sequel to their 2010 blockbuster film, Robot. Tipped to be the most expensive film on Indian screen, Robot 2.0 features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as the antagonist and British model Amy Jackson as the female lead.
According to the fresh update, young model cum actor Sudhanshu Pandey has been roped in to play a parallel villain in this science fiction thriller. He will be seen as son of Danny Denzongpa, who played the villain in Robot. Akshay Kumar will be seen as a creature villain in the film and already his intriguing look has raised a lot of curiosity among the audience. Sudhanshu Pandey will be playing the role of scientist who has grey shades.
The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the unit has recently shot some crucial scenes in Delhi. AR Rahman will render the tunes and Lyca International banner is bankrolling this film.
