By now, it is clear to everyone that the Rajinikanth starrer Robot 2.0, which is being directed by ace filmmaker Shankar, is the costliest India film ever. Popular production unit Lyca International is shelling out more than 250 Crores for this science fiction thriller which is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster film, Robot.
According to the latest update, the fresh schedule of the film will kick start from today in Delhi. An important action sequence featuring an array of cars and robots will be shot in this schedule. This is the first time the unit is shooting outdoor after the film went on floors last December. This schedule is expected to continue for nearly 40 days. Till now, the unit canned some prominent scenes in specially erected sets in Chennai.
British model turned actress Amy Jackson is playing the female lead and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist in the film. The technical team has been bolstered with the inclusion of the some popular Hollywood technicians and Shankar is sparing no effort to make this film a huge hit.
