Sensational director Puri Jagannadh scored massive and back to back hits in his career. After NTR’s Temper, the ace director failed out to impress the audience and all his recent outings ended up as massive debacles. He pinned massive hopes on Rogue which marks the debut of Ishaan to South Indian cinema. Rogue has been called as ‘Maro Chantigadi Prema Katha’ and Puri revealed that the film is close to his heart.
The film released recently and it has been badly rejected by the audience. Puri has been widely criticised for opting out for an outdated script. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 25 crores which includes Puri Jagannadh’s remuneration and Rogue is said to end up collecting less than Rs 10 crores in its final run in Telugu and Kannada languages. This will sure be a massive blow for Puri Jagannadh. It’s high time for Puri Jagannadh to wake up and step out with interesting films.
The talented filmmaker is completely focussed on Balakrishna’s movie which will release during September this year.
