After two-weeks of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao performing housewarming ceremony at his newly constructed palace-like official residence building complex, a controversy is being raised on making Andhra-based pontiff Chinna Jeeyar Swamy to sit on the chair of Chief Minister. After completion of rituals, before formally occupying his chair, Rao requested Swamy first to sit in the chair and accord his blessings to him. Though Swamy hesitated, on the persuasion of Rao, he obliged for a while.
Raising this issue, TDP’s `fire brand’ state working president A Revanth Reddy accused that chief minister had insulted thousands of Telangana movement martyrs by offering his official seat to Andhra-based Swamy. Stating that this action of KCR is an insult to the martyrs, he demanded that strict punishment should be given for the same.
During his Karimnagar visit today, Reddy alleged that except completion of luxurious official residence building, spending several crore of rupees, not a single project was completed during two and half years’ of TRS regime. He wondered that Telangana chief minster’s a bullet-proof bathroom has attracted the attention of BBC also.
Coming down heavily on the government, Revanth Reddy accused that KCR has been intimidating those opposing the government. He said that the government’s action against Vimalakka by sealing her office was timid act. Government is harassing those questioning its failure, he added.
He slammed Rao saying that while father (KCR) was busying blowing his own trumpet, his son KTR was busying taking selfie. He deplored that TRS government of throwing governance of the state to the wind. Stating that the people are fed up with the state government, Revanth Reddy said that they would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS in the assembly elections.
