The RSS and the BJP Andhra leaders are now seeing Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s policies as more dangerous to their organisations than even the strategies followed by Chandrababu Naidu. The RSS says that the religious conversions have picked up alarmingly ever since the YCP victory and this is being done with lot of audacity. On the other hand, the BJP is facing stiff resistance to expand its base because of gross misuse of police and power by Jagan Circar.
As a result, the RSS-BJP have decided to adopt a two-pronged strategy to take on the ruling YCP. While the RSS will take up direct action against religious conversions, the BJP will intensify its political agitation against the misdeeds of the AP government. At the state-level meeting, the RSS-BJP leaders concluded that Chandrababu had misused power to some extent but Jaganmohan Reddy’s abuse of power and police machinery reached intolerable proportions. Already, justifying this argument, senior leader and MLC Somu Veerraju has sent a detailed report on Jagan Regime’s excesses the top leadership.
RSS-BJP have also concluded that they would be able to strengthen their organisations only if Jagan’s aggression and adamant policies are attacked with equal intensity. Accordingly, RSS national leaders have asked state unit to get ready and wage a war against YCP.
