This time BJP fielded Sai Kumar in the border constituency of Bagepalli, Chikballapur district, which has high number of Telugu speaking voters. In fact Sai Kumar has earned a large fan base in most parts of Chikkaballapur, where there is a large number of Telugu speakers. Since most of Bagepalli constituency borders Andhra Pradesh, Telugu culture may influence voters here.
As he is contesting from BJP and he is a Telugu person basically, So media asked him about his stand on SCS and Bala Krishna’s comments on PM. He condemned Bala Krishna’s comments on Modi and told, making personal comments is unwarranted in Politics.
