Sai Madhav Burra is the most sought after writer in Tollywood at present. After his impressive writing skills in Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum, he hogged the limelight with films like Malli Malli Idhi Raneroju, Gauthamiputra Satakarni and Khaidi No 150. His trenchant and thought provoking dialogues proved to be a big asset for these films.
He has his platter full with films like Syeraa and NTR biopic in the pipeline. Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli has roped him to pen dialogues for his upcoming magnum opus RRR with NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.
It is learnt that Sai Madhav has jacked up his remuneration for Rajamouli’s film. Sources close to the writer revealed that he has now doubled his pay and will take home close to 75 lakhs which is almost double the amount which he was paid till now.
True that there is a dearth of writers in Tollywood after Trivikram Srinivas, Koratala Siva, Kona Venkat and few other prominent writers turned into directors. So, filmmakers are willing to shell out a hefty remuneration for talented writers like Burra.
