Talented Tamil girl Sai Pallavi made a mark in Tollywood with impressive performances in Fidaa and MCA. Her last outing Padi Padi Leche Manasu failed to create any magic at box office. Since then, the Premam beauty is quite choosy in signing Telugu films. She even rejected a couple of offers as she is not convinced with the inconsequential roles. Now, she has been signed up for a meaty role in Rana Daggubati’s upcoming period film Virata Paravam in Venu Udugula’s direction.
Reportedly, Sai Pallavi will be seen as a dutiful scribe in this intense drama which also features yesteryear actress Tabu in a significant role. Sai Pallavi will play an investigative journalist who carries the narrative forward. It is an author-backed role which has equal weight with Rana’s role. Sai Pallavi loved the character arc and immediately signed the dotted line.
The principal shooting of Virata Paravam is currently underway and the makers are planning to release the film early next year.
