Thanks to the high pitched intense verbal battle between political parties in Telangana, its raining new cuss words. Both ruling Congress and Opposition BRS leaders are firing on each other with no holds barred attitude, liberally using cuss words and derogatory language.
Speaking in Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, TPCC working president T Jagga Reddy called BRS working president KT Rama Rao ‘bewakoof’. He also gave the reason for calling KTR bewakoof.
“If KTR calls our CM Revanth Reddy ‘houle’, will we not feel pain? That’s why I am calling KTR as ‘bewakoof’,” reasoned firebrand Jagga Reddy.
When it comes to using derogatory language or insulting political opponents with expletives, former CM KCR clearly emerges as the pioneer in Telugu politics. Following his footsteps, his son KTR is also not shying away from foul language, inspite of him being a highly educated foreign-returned professional.
Attacking CM, Opposition leader KTR called Revanth Reddy as ‘houle’. While KCR did all he could to degrade politics in Telangana, his son KTR is proving that he has all abilities to carry forward his father’s legacy in using cuss words.
Succeeding KTR, CM Revanth Reddy is also proving that he is not less than BRS boss in using derogatory language. Revanth Reddy is already known for his attitude of ‘tit-for-tat’ and giving it back to his opponents in their own language. So he liberally used cuss words when attacking KCR and BRS leaders in the past.
The point here is, Revanth Reddy is continuing that behavior even after becoming CM. His statements like ‘naa kodakallara’ ‘Pandapetti thokkutha’ ‘chintapandu chesta’ have become popular and controversial.
Not to be left behind, BJP leaders are also adding to the political dictionary of derogatory language in Telangana. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay called KTR ‘useless fellow’, hitting back at BRS top leadership.
With all the three political forces Congress, BRS and BJP vying with each other in asserting their supremacy and present day politicians having no thought of decency in public life, it appears more cuss words and derogatory words may found way into Telangana politics.
