Hyderabad has become most happening place in India with regard to the IT developments in the recent times. The capital city of Telangana state has hosted number of national and international events. The launch of the T-Hub has completely changed the profile the HI-tech city. Ratan Tata, who participated in the launch of T-Hub was immensely impressed by the facility and wished that Hyderabad would lead India in IT sector. Now, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft is all set to visit the T-Hub, the state of the art Information Technology Incubation Centre. According to IT minister KT Ramarao, Satya Nadell is scheduled to visit the T-Hub on December 28. He is expected to participate in a couple of path breaking programs initiated by the Telangana government that day, Ramarao said.
“Satya Nadella is coming to Hyderabad on December 28. He is visiting T Hub. We are planning to inaugurate some of our initiatives during that time. We are also inviting some other dignitaries. The Microsoft CEO promised to spend a couple of hours at the T-Hub. He is on a private visit,” Rao told media.
This is Nadella’s second visit to Hyderabad. On September 28, 2014 Nadella called on chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with five senior executives from the information technology behemoth. As unusual, details of Nadella’s meeting with KCR were not revealed. Nadella’s team, however, reportedly touched upon the expansion plans of Microsoft in Hyderabad at his meeting with the Chief Minister that lasted over an hour. IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister S. Narsing Rao were present.
This time, Ramarao said, he was not sure of a meeting between the CM and Nadella. He simply said Nadella’s trip was a private one.
Source in IT department said a meeting between Chief Minister and Microsoft CEO might not be possible as the former would be busy with Ayata Maha Chandiyagam scheduled to be held between December 23 and December 27.
