A three-member search committee has been set up to recommend names of suitable candidates for the post of vice-chancellor JNTU Anantapuramu. The committee has Prof. Anandakrishnana (chairman, IIT Kanpur-UGC nominee), Prof. BL Diskhitulu (IRDBT, Secunderabad, JNUT nominee) and the secretary, higher education (government nominee) as members. The committee will recommend a panel of three names to the government. Government later will appoint one the members as the vice chancellor.
