With Mister being a complete wash out at the box office, Mega actor Varun Tej has pinned all his hopes on his next outing, Fidaa which is being directed by Sekhar Kammula. Tipped to be a fresh romantic tale between a Telangana girl and an NRI boy, the film stars Premam sensation Sai Pallavi as the female lead.
According to the latest update, Sekhar Kammula has roped in young actor Harshavardan Rane for a guest role in this film. Harshavardan Rane, who made his debut with Thakita Thakita,appeared in Sekhar Kammula’s lady oriented film Anamika, which starred Nayanatara. He also played an important role in Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger. He commenced shooting for his role in Fidaa recently.
Fidaa is aiming for August 4th release. Dil Raju is the film’s producer.
