Many Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, are in Jaipur for the IIFA 2025 awards. Before the show, a press conference with many famous celebrities took place in Jaipur. There, fans were excited to see Shahid Kapoor and Kareena together again after a long time. The former couple and co-stars from Jab We Met greeted each other well. The video online shows Kareena and Shahid hugging at the press conference. Then, Kareena also hugged Karan Johar, who was there too. Shahid and Kareena talked briefly while Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, and other stars came on stage. Seeing the two together again made fans very excited. There are lot of videos from the past in which Kareena ignored Shahid Kapoor in public events. They haven’t seen each other for years.

In an older interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan said that Shahid was the one who told her to read the script of Jab We Met. She remembered him saying she should take the role because the girl’s part was great. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were in a relationship for several years before they broke up in 2006 right before the release of Jab We Met. After their breakup, both of them got married. Shahid married Mira Rajput, and Kareena married Saif Ali Khan. Shahid and Mira have two kids, Misha and Zain. Kareena and Saif also have two sons Taimur and Jeh.
