JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav paid a visit to the YSRCP camp that is doing indefinite hunger strike (or Sine Die) for the past 4 days at AP Bhavan, New Delhi. He expressed concern forthe MPs health. Speaking to the national media, Sharad Yadav made some key statements.
‘The people of Andhra Pradesh are not demanding for something new. They are asking for their right; the Special Category Status. The Central Government should immediately approve SCS to AP. It is the right of Telugu people.
Before the 2014 General Elections, the BJP party promised that it would grant the SCS. It is unfair on its part to discard the SCS citing some reason’, said the JD(U) minister.
Meanwhile, three MPs fell ill after their energy supplies in their body depleted. YSRCP MPs Varaprasad Velagapalli, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and YV Subba Reddy were hospitalized.
On his twitter handle, YS Jagan mentioned the same, and in fact,YS Jagan requested Narendra Modi to grant the SCS to AP, citing that the lives of his MPs and future of AP people are at stake.
