Sharwanand, one of the talented and versatile actors in Tollywood, is currently busy shooting for his 25th film under the production of BVSN Prasad’s SVCC banner. Debutante Chandra Mohan, a former assistant to Karunakaran, is directing this yet to be titled action drama which has Sharwanand playing a dynamic cop. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace from the past few weeks. Lavanya Tripathi is the film’s leading lady.
According to the latest update, the overseas rights of the film have been snapped by Nirvana Cinemas, one of the renowned distribution houses in USA. Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that Nirvana Cinemas has bagged the film for 1.63 Crores which is the highest price in Sharwanand’s career till date. The film should relatively end as highest grossing film in Sharwanand’s career to break even.
Sharwanand’s previous best in overseas was this year’s Sankranthi release, Express Raja which grossed just above $ 400K, leaving the buyers with slight profits. Now, his 25th film should collect around $ 425K – $ 450K to emerge as a profitable venture for Nirvana Cinemas. Considering the fact that it is a debut director’s film, the price looks a little high and the film should garner unanimous talk from overseas audience to touch the break even mark.
No doubt , Sharwanand has emerged as a commercial actor with the strong success of Run Raja Run and Express Raja. So, we have to wait and see if the talented actor can continue his success streak with this landmark film.
