The controversy surrounding Pawan Kalyan’s statement on murder plot against him is continuing with the ruling TDP leaders making it a bigger issue each passing day. The Jana Sena leader is now under lot of pressure from different parties to reveal the names of the persons whose voices are recorded in the audio recording.
Why is Pawan refusing to give details when this will only help his party gain an upper hand? Where is the need for TDP to continue to corner Jana Sena on this issue?
Taking strong objection to Pawan’s claims, Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has demanded that it is not correct on the part of a political leader to make such a controversial statement without giving details and proof of his claims. The Minister criticised Jana Sena for trying to provoke feelings among different sections of people only to take advantage of the resulting atmosphere of mistrust.
Despite TDP’s demands, Pawan has not talked further on his sensational statement during his ongoing ‘Porata Yatra’ meetings in West Godavari district. Political observers say that the silence on the part of Pawan will give an impression that he has made that statement in a casual manner only to outwit rival parties and appeal to his fans among the young generation. There is another opinion that Pawan might have used a stray audio recording between some persons to embarrass the ruling party. It is a matter of curiosity which direction election campaign will take because of this ‘murder plot comment’ in the coming months.
