Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja turned a signing spree this year after a massive break in his career. He is shooting for Raja the Great and Touch Chesi Chudu which have been aimed for release this year. The actor recently signed the remake of Tamil blockbuster Bogan which will start rolling during the end of this year. Lakshman who directed the original will direct the Telugu remake. Jayam Ravi, Aravind Swamy and Hansika played the lead roles in the originals.
With number of rumours floating about Aravind Swamy, the movie’s director Lakshman clarified that Aravind Swamy was never approached for the remake. “Considering the Telugu audience, we made enough changes for the script and SJ Suryah is considered to replace Aravind Swamy for the role. We will take a call once we wrap up the entire script work”. Catherine has been roped in to romance Ravi Teja in the movie which will release during the second half of 2018.
