Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy has now taken his fight against Prabhodananda Ashram to the state capital, Amaravati. In his own inimitable style, he spoke against the Ashram’s activities saying that the Swamiji and his followers were misguiding and abusing innocent, gullible followers all these days.
Now, JC stepped up his criticism saying that Prabhodananda was even exploiting women followers by forcing them to believe blindly that ‘sleeping with him will bring divine blessings to them’.
JC said that the Ashram was spreading an objectionable cult system where they were promoting open fulfillment of desires and pleasures. “They are saying this would open doors for heaven and divinity for everybody”, he said. He further said that during Full Moon and No Moon days, the Ashram becomes a den for all sorts of indecent and uncivilised activities.
Expressing lack of sufficient police action, JC met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and made complaints against the Ashram again. He once again complained against the police saying that his gunmen did not bother to fire in air when Ashram people attacked him recently.
JC was on the war path ever since one person was killed and several injured in violence after Ashram followers provoked local villagers at Chinnapolamada by not allowing them to carry out Ganesh procession there recently.
