Ex-MP YV Subba Reddy is known as a close relative of the YSR family. So, he is seen as a follower of Christianity. Once his name came as being finalised for the TTD Chairman post, there’s a lot of buzz on the social media. Many have raised doubts how such a post could be given to a Christian. Though the YCP leaders tried to suppress the news, more and more Hindu followers started expressing concern.
As the social media rumours are spreading like wildfire, YV Subba Reddy was finally forced to come out and assert that he is a Hindu. He had to explain that he was an ardent devotee of Venkateswara Swamy and that he and his wife are doing Hindu pujas daily.
Subba Reddy said that he will be accepting the TTD post or any post offered by CM Jaganmohan Reddy. Jagan had already told him to take up TTD Chairman post. Subba Reddy said that he would order an enquiry into the alleged misuse of funds and jewellery scam in the TTD.
