Stylish star Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya opened to mixed reports all over. While Bunny’s angry man characterisation and his stellar performance have turned out to be the saving grace the film, it is the weak climax that has scuttled the chances from making it a decent watch for audience.
The last 30 minutes of the film is a big let down. Producer Lagadapati Sridhar’s son played a role as Anwar in the film and his character seems to be deliberately given ample screen presence in the climax just to make him shine as an actor. This has hugely impacted the film’s output and didn’t go well with the viewers.
Moviegoers are bemused how a top actor like Allu Arjun, who usually takes utmost care in all aspects related to his films, agreed to include such needless scenes in the climax part.
The ‘Son’ stroke seems to have hit the film hard and resulted in poor word of mouth which is playing a big part in the disappointing run at the box office.
Directed by Vakkantham Vamshi, Naa Peru Surya has Anu Emanuel as the female lead.
