The bonding between legendary lyricist Veturi and playback singer SPB dates back since 70s. This duo gave some fantastic songs to Tollywood which range over a myriad of emotions such as devotion, love, dance, duets and what not?

SAFE organization presented Veturi awards to melodious composer duo Rajan – Nagendra and poet Goreti Venkanna aa part of the annual tradition and hosted SPB Live show in Satya Sai Nigamam campus yesterday which was jam packed with musical audiences. Singer Sunitha and Parthasaradhi did the dual role of hosting the show and also sing some unforgettable memories of Veturi.

However, it was SPB who stole the show with his fantastic singing along with memorable tidbits about his association with Veturi. Songs like Ee Petaku Nene (Muramestri) and Akaasam Nee Haddura(Sommokadidi Sokokadidi) got maximum response from the audience and also some brilliant Rajan – Nagendra songs earned everyone’s hearts.

Film personalities like Director Vamsi, YVS Chowdary, Indraganti Mohana Krishna, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhavapeddi Suresh graced the event and rejoiced the nostalgia.

SPB proved time and again that he is evergreen in singing and the youthfulness in his actions is still evident in every song he sang!
