Sri Reddy, who became popular with controversial comments on film celebrities regarding casting couch confirmed that she got chance in Lawrence film. She posted through her social media that she finally got chance Lawrence movie and he even offered her remuneration, which she is donating to cyclone relief. But this move of her is seen as backstabbing of “Me too“ movement at crucial time. She earlier made allegations on Lawrence misbehaving with her. But now she accepted role in his movie. With this, there is a debate started among people that if she is offered a role, she is ready to backstab the “Me too” movement and work with those who offended her.

But now things changed and she was offered a role in Lawrence’s upcoming movie. She posted in her social media account, “Good news for all of my frds that I met Lawrence garu @his home,he recieved me in a very nice way..saw many of the kids over there,they are really happy wt him..they prayed for me..I gave an audition, he took me into his next film,he promised me and confirmed a good role,got an advance too..i am sharing this amount to srikakulam people who suffered by cyclone#celebrationstime..”

Recently Aamir Khan, Akshay announced that they will not work with proven offenders. Aamir walked out of ‘Mogul’ Project and Akshay cancelled shooting. 11 women directors released a note that they will not work with proven offenders. While they are taking such bold decisions, Sri Reddy accepting the role for herself with a proven offender (as per her own allegations) show how serious she is with the “Me too” movement. By accepting the role in Lawrence movie, she clearly gave indications that she is ready to work with any of those on whom she made allegations.
