Prolific Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s crowd pleasing and rip roaring epic fantasy film, Baahubali : The Beginning, is gearing up for one more international release very soon. After taking the Indian box office by storm last year, the film had a promising show in other countries like Germany and France earlier this year. According to the fresh update, the blockbuster period drama is all set for a mammoth release all over China on June 24th.
Arka Media Works, the production house behind this war spectacle, inked a lucrative deal with E Stars Films, a leading distribution house to handle the massive release. Baahubali will open in nearly 6000 screens in China making it one of the biggest releases in Asia. The international version, which is 20 minutes less than the original runtime, was cut by popular editor Vincent Tabaillon.
Featuring an ensemble cast in the form of Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Ramya Krishna and Tamannaah, the soundtrack for the film was composed by MM Keeravani. The regular shooting of the film’s concluding part is going on at a brisk pace and the makers are planning to release it in April next year.
