Hyderabad: The suspense over seat sharing between Jana Sena and Left parties has been continuing as Pawan Kalyan is still silent over it. CPI and CPM parties want to contest in 30 Assembly constituencies each in the forthcoming polls in Andhra Pradesh.
Jana Sena has initiated process of screening potential candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies. Pawan Kalyan has set up a screening committee as well and several aspirants have started submitting their applications. However, there’s no talk of seat sharing with Left parties at the Jana Sena office. On the other hand, Left parties are announcing in the press conferences that they would get 30 seats under the poll alliance.
Communist party cadres are in dilema over seat sharing as Jana Sena aspirants from all the 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies. A source said that “Jana Sena is accepting applications from all the constituencies. If Pawan Kalyan is keen on alliance with Left parties, then he should have avoided accpeting applications from select constituencies. But, it’s not happening. Let’s see the outcome in the next few days.”
Both the Left parties are not approaching Pawan Kalayn for seeking clarity on poll alliance. Instead, Left parties are just waiting for a call from Pawan Kalyan, while indicating their intention of getting 30 seats each often at the media interactions.
