Akkineni Akhil, the third generation star from the illustrious Akkineni family, had a disastrous start to his career as his debut outing failed miserably at the box office. It has been more than six months since the release of Akhil, but he is yet to sign his second film.There were several reports in media and various directors were considered to handle the project, but none them took off beyond discussion stage and the wait continues for the Akkineni lad. Everyone in industry is very surprised over this inordinate delay and are curious to know the real reason for the long wait.

It is said that Akhil is extra cautious after the disappointing result of his debut film. Close sources to Akhil revealed that he has become very choosy for his next project and is not willing to accept whatever comes his way. He is putting various conditions for directors who are coming to narrate him scripts. It is believed that he wants to work for a unique script and wanted an experienced filmmaker to take up the project.

He is looking for a script which is loaded with commercial elements to elevate his image. Also,he is not willing to work with new directors. Whatever story comes his way, it should get the nod from Nagarjuna and Amala. It is heard that few star directors have backed out due to these conditions. So, Akhil is very choosy and his conditions are proving to be costly as star directors are reluctant to team up with him.
