Star hero Victory Venkatesh’s sports drama ‘Guru‘ was supposed to hit the screens on January 26th. But, the delay in post production activities has deferred its release. The latest news from close sources to the unit revealed that the film’s release has been pushed to Summer.
After missing out on Republic day, the makers were looking for a February release. But, it looks like they have altered their plans as February is jam-packed with the release of many medium and low budget films including a couple of big ticket films. They are now in plans to release it in early Summer. An official confirmation is likely to be out soon.
Guru is the remake of Tamil-Hindi bilingual film Saala Khadoos. Sudha Kongara, who directed the original, is the director for the Telugu version too. Y Not Studios is the production unit behind this film.
