It is a proud moment for Indian-American community in US. Virginia Republicans have chosen Subba Rao Kolla, a Loudon County Businessman to announce Virginia votes in Republican (GOP) conference in Cleveland. Mr. Kolla a graudate of VR Siddhardha College of Engineering is the first Indian-American to serve in the state’s delegation to a national GOP convention.
Asians now make up 6.9% of the electorate in Virginia, which is higher than national average of 6%. “But he’s also from a community that’s critical to our success in Northern Virginia and Virginia as a whole,”said Republican Party of Virginia Chairman John Whitbeck.
