Nagaraj Goud
A Dharma Productions film. A film which features Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Who would say no to a feature in such a project? Well, that’s what exactly our own Sudheer Babu did. Wonder why? Read on…
Having made a successful Bollywood debut with Sajid Nadiadwala’s production ‘Baaghi’, a remake of our own ‘Varsham’, Sudheer was offered many roles—both positive and negative. One such offer was to play a villain in super-hero flick ‘Brahmastra’, whose first leg of shooting was filmed in Bulgaria earlier this March. “It was a substantial part but as I was getting good offers from Telugu, I decided not to accept it,” Sudheer said.
In Telugu besides ‘Sammohanam’, which is scheduled to open in cinemas this Friday, the suave actor has own untitled production venture which is 80 per cent through. “We haven’t announced anything about the film because it’s a love story like ‘Sammohanam’ and we didn’t want to confuse the audience. We’ve attached the title teaser with ‘Sammohanam’ prints. It is being directed by RS Naidu who assisted Virinchi Varma in the past,” Sudheer pointed out. He also has Pullela Gopichand biopic in his kitty for which he will start shooting from September.
