The “Flash Team” survey telecast by ABN-Andhra Jyothi on Sunday night clearly suggested that the Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu is riding on the crest of popularity in Andhra Pradesh and he would outsmart the opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hands down if elections are conducted now.
“The survey result suggests that most of the voters feel that Chandrababu is eligible and efficient,” the anchor, Murthy, declared. However, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan got bad marks from the public as a leader, who responds to public issues. While 47.68% participants gave ‘good’ to PK, 52.32% said he is ‘bad’ as a leader.
The results are as follows:
Who is suitable for CM position?
Naidu: 58.08%
Jagan: 41.92%
How is Naidu’s performance as CM?
Good: 46.19%
Bad: 20.27%
Okay: 33.54%
How is Jagan’s performance as Opposition leader?
Good: 34.07%
Bad: 33.13%
Okay: 32.80%
Pawan Kalyan as a leader
Good: 47.68%
Bad: 52.32%
The survey also said that YCRCP is going to lose SC votes but BCs are still with TDP. The anchor made it clear that people right now are not looking Pawan Kalyan as an active player. “His role is not clear as of now because he is not having party cadre and a proper set up,” the anchor said.
Later on, the channel did an interview with Flash Team Head Srinivas, who claimed that his team had done 31 surveys from 2004 onward. Srinivas, who lacked confidence in defending the survey, said that a clarity will emerge on Pawan Kalayan after the next periodic survey.
ABN-AJ will take up the micro analysis of the survey for the next three days.
