Sumanth Revealed Reason For His Divorce With Keerthi Reddy

With the humongous success of Malli Raava, actor Sumanth bounced back after a spate of box office failures. Directed by Gautam Tannanuri, the film features Akanksha Singh as the female lead. The actor also thanked all his fans on Twitter for making this movie a huge hit. In a recent interview, the actor revealed the reason for getting separated from his wife and actress Keerthi Reddy.

Sumanth and Keerthi Reddy got hitched in 2004 and divorced after a year. Speaking to the media, Sumanth shared, “We got separated after one year of our marriage. We are two different souls and in that year only, we came to know, that we can’t stay together for long time. So, with mutual consent we took divorce.”

He also revealed that the duo are still in contact with each other and last time he met Keerthi Reddy when his grandfather and legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao got expired. Sumanth said that Keerthi married again and has two kids now. He added, “Though we got separated, we still make calls to each other and Keerthi’s family and her husband respect me a lot and maintain a cordial relationship with me.”
