The highly energetic cum nicely talkative Suma Kanakala is unveiling a new trend in game shows when she hosts tonight’s Genes, King of All Game Shows, in Ee-TV. She is giving a break to one of the popular shows ‘Cash’ after completing 200 episodes on July 16, 2016 and restarting ‘genes’ which rocked Telugu television industry four years ago. A sequel to a mega hit game show is something new for Telugus.
Produced by ‘Mallemala Entertainment’, Genes has already got enough publicity. Suma has made ground for Genes-2 with her ticklish announcements about the show and people have already been addicted to Malayala kutti but Sweet Telugu anchor’s Suma-isams. The Jabardasth-fames Chanti and RP are going to feature in the 2.0 version of Jeans in which they show a lot of their childhood photos while cracking off the cuff repartee. To match the occasion, RP, known for his typical Rayalaseema slang, came to the show wearing Jeans pant and shirt. Maintaining the same mischievous remarks and self-centric critical comments, Suma continued her natural vigour in it.
‘Cash (dorikinanta Dochuko)’ that started in September 2012 enthralled audience with funny rounds and comments. Electronic gadgets passing through a treadmill and getting smashed if the participants fail to give the correct answer in stipulated time, college students’ frank remarks/observations on trends are two salient features of Cash.
Away from quizzing that we saw in Cash, Genes-2 is going to sell the concept of joint families and values involved in it apart from showcasing the old memories of the guests. “I came close to the hearts of people through Jeans initially. Happy to restart Jeans after giving a break to Cash. Many joint families would take part in the programme,” Suma said in an interview.
