Tamil actor Suriya along with his brother Karthi supported the ongoing Jallikattu protest in Tamil Nadu taking off from their busy schedules. The actor has been shocked with the comments that PETA made on the actor after which he decided to take a legal action. A letter dated January 20th has been sent to four entities along with PETA India and its CEO Poorva Joshipura. The letter has been sent as a warning asking for apology and if it is not issed, Suriya will initiate the legal proceedings.
Before this PETA made some baseless comments on the actor saying that Suriya stepped out and spoke on Jallikattu issue only for promoting his upcoming release Singam 3 It also revealed that Suriya is making the film’s publicity through this base which left the actor irritated. Suriya also gave seven days time after it has been sent and will wait for an apology. His next movie titled Singam 3 is slated for January 26th release during Republic Day.
