Talented actor Suriya made his impact in Tollywood with films like Ghajini, Veedokkade, Singam, Seventh Sense and 24. After back to back debacles, his Telugu market tumbled down. At one time, there was a huge demand for the Telugu theatrical rights of his films. But his recent outings Singam 3 and Gang released without enough noise in limited screens. His next film NGK is gearing up for release on May 31st which is directed by Selvaraghavan.
After a long wait, the makers sold the Telugu theatrical rights for Rs 8 crores which is quite low. The film lacked buzz and is expected to open on a low note for sure. KK Radha Mohan acquired the Telugu theatrical rights for Rs 8 crores. NGK features Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles and is a political drama. Dream Warrior Pictures bankrolled NGK.
