Whatever be his past record, Sarada Peethadhipati Swaroopananda Swamy has become the centre of attraction in both the Telugu states. Last year, Telangana CM Chandrasekhara Rao immediate made a visit to Vizag and prostrated before Swamy after getting electoral victory. Now, AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is all set to do the same.
As AP CM himself is giving these indications, Swaroopananda has become one of the all important power centres in the state. The Swamy has set Muhurat for Jagan swearing-in and he is going to fix the auspicious time for Congress Ministers’ swearing-in as well. Already, Sarada Ashram has turned into a beehive of political activity in Vizag.
Interestingly, there are reports that ministerial aspirants and MLAs are also lobbying through Swaroopananda. Telangana CM has been showing a steady respect for him. Swaroopananda followers are saying that their Swamiji has made Jaganmohan Reddy following Hindu principles though he is a Christian by birth. The political circles are full of speculation that Swaroopananda’s influence will increase further in Telugu states.
