Megastar Chiranjeevi’s SyeRaa was launched in a grand way on August 22nd this year. The film was supposed to start rolling in September, but was delayed to the sudden exit of DOP Ravi Varman. The makers have found a replacement in the form of Rathnavelu, who is currently busy with Ram Charan’s undershoot film, Rangasthalam.
As Rangasthalam shoot is likely to be wrapped up by November end, team SyeRaa will kick start the regular shooting in the first week of December. The film, to be made as a multilingual period drama which narrates the glory of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, will have an ensemble cast in the form of Sudeep, Amithab Bachchan, Vijay Sethupati, Nayanatara etc.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the big budget entertainer will have its music score by AR Rahman. Ram Charan will bankroll the film.
